The Cavalier King Charles Spaniel is one of the few breeds that have been re-created after becoming blended with other types of spaniels. The Cavalier King Charles Spaniel looks very similar to the larger King Charles Spaniel which was used as a gun dog and hunting breed.. Mrs. Hewitt Pitt is considered to be the first breeder of the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel that favors the current breed standards.. The Cavalier King Charles Spaniel was accepted into the Kennel Club in 1945, but has since achieved breed status in the toy group in 1995.

The Cavalier King Charles Spaniels is a toy with boundless energy and Love. This breed is also known as Ruby Spaniel, Blenheim Spaniel. The life span of this breed is 10 -15 years with 12-13 inches in height and 5-8 kg in weight .It is same in both male and female breeds. The female averagely give birth to 2-6 puppies. The color of this breed rangingfromRed and White (Blenheim), black and tan (King Charles) tricolor (Prince Charles) and solid, dark red (Ruby). This breed has long hair with moderate shed.
