Chinese Crested Dog Breed Information
Breed Description
The Chinese Crested Dog is originated from the African hairless dog breed. It is discovered by Chinese sailors. The Chinese Crested Dog is a quite different and unique and different breed which has gained special attention from dog lovers.
Physical Characteristics
The Chinese Crested is of two types. The first familiar smaller one appears hairless. The second uncommon, appears with silky hair throughout the body. The Chinese Crested has fox like shaped head with almond shape, alert and very dark eyes. The Chinese Crested Dogs is known as Powder Puff Chinese Crested, Hairless Chinese Crested and Chinese Royal Dog. This breed has only short lifespan of 10-12 years. In this breed both the male and female are of same height (30cm) and weight (4.5 kg). The female Chinese Crested give birth to 3-6 puppies averagely. For this breed all colors and patterns is acceptable. This breed is belongs to AKC Toy group with toy or small sized appearance.
Nature of Breed
The Chinese Crested dog is an indoor dog which lives under any circumstance. The Chinese Crested dog is lovable, funny, very intelligent and easy to care. This breed have high contact with humans. This is not applicable breed to people who always being outside. The Chinese Crested will resort to a problematic behavior, if they kept alone. The Chinese Crested Dog is very difficult to re-home or adopt because this breed create a bond with one or two members of family and they will never get away from them.
The Chinese Crested is an excellent breed to be a personal pet.
