The Dandier Din Mont terrier is first mentioned in the 17th century as one of several breeds that created for vermin control. This breed becomes fashionable only in the mid to late 19th century. This breed is used for hunting rodents, skunks and also it is good companion breed.

The Dandier Din Mont terrier is long and short in appearance. The life span of this breed is 12-15 years. This breed is belongs to Terrier group. The Dandier Din Mont terrier pups appear in black and silver coat color or reddish yellow color. The male breed weighs (9-11kg) with the height (25-30 cm). The female breed weighs (8-10 kg) with the height (20-25 cm).The female gives birth to 2-4 puppies. The Dandier Din Mont terrier has long hair with light shade. This breed is also known as Dandier and Hind lee Terrier. This breed has characteristic topknot of silky fur on their head. This breed is good for apartment living.
