Breed Description
In 1300, the tradition of English Setters began with a single type of Spanish Spaniel. This breed is created mainly for hunting birds.

Physical Characteristics
The English setter is large sized in appearance with nature of elegance. This breed is also known as Lave rack Setter and Llewellyn Setter. This breed is lean, with powerful chests sloping back to the smooth, tense lines of legs and feet, the ready tail, and the powerful muscles. The life span of this breed is between 10-12 years. This breed is belonging to Gun dog and AKC Sporting Group. The English setter appears in white color with overlay markings in the following colors: Orange, Blue, Liver, Lemon, Tricolor (Blue/Tan/White). The male breed weighs (25-36 kg) with the height (61-69 cm).The female weighs (20-32 kg) with the height (58-66cm).The female Cocker gives birth to 6 puppies averagely. This breed has medium sized hair with moderate shade. The English setter is exactly good in a rural or sparsely-populated suburban setting. This breed is excellent in outdoor.

The English setter is an energetic and good outdoor dog. The greatest joy of this breed is simply to expand its energy. The English setter is good to owner, who has a large, fenced yard or adequate outdoor space and willing to spend hours every day with it in walking, jogging and giving good exercise regularly. This breed is socialized earlier with other household pets and to be obedient during outdoor exercise. Hence this breed is good to be a field dog.
