It is a large, massive breed. It is found in fawn, apricot, or brindle color. It has short hairs. It has a life span of 10-12 years and litter size of 2-5 puppies. Its height is up to 271/2 inches inches. Its weight is up to 200 pounds. They are inactive indoors and needs minimal exercise. They can live in a small living space and larger living space may be more comfortable for this breed. They do not like warm, hot, or humid climates and prefer cold. So they are fir for cool areas. It has a long height and a muscular body. It is a heavy boned dog. The eyes are medium sized and ears are small and rounded. Its forehead has wrinkles on it. It has a broad and dark colored nose. The muscles of the cheeks are very powerful.

It is an extra large and powerful dog that’s why its name is Mastiffs which means powerful. It is the oldest English breed. It has its ancestors breeds Molosser and the Alaunt. It was used bear-baiting, bull-baiting, dog fighting, and lion baiting. This breed is used for hybridizing to form many new breeds.
Nature and Temperament
It is an intelligent and confident dog. It was basically used as a fighter dog. It is a good watch dog and also a good protector. This breed rarely barks and snores loudly. They are pleased to be with the owner and family. They are good with children. They respond well to training. They need human companionship.
