These are small sized dogs. They have toy type appearance. These dogs have a life span of 15 years and litter size of 1-3 puppies. They are found in colors such as Solid Red, Stag Red, Black, Chocolate and Blue. Its height is up to 12 inches. Its weight is up to 10 pounds. It was basically meant for hunting rats. It has a muscular body. It has a narrow head with a prominent foreface. It has dark eyes with oval shape. They have flat skulls. It has black nose and scissor bite teeth. Their feet are small and look like cat. It is very sweet and gentle dog but prone to demanding. They run freely with the forelegs. These are very courageous dogs.

Breed History
It is a German Breed. It looks like Doberman Pinscher but have no relation to this breed. It was bred purpose of hunting rats in stables. German Pinscher and Italian Greyhound contributed in the hybridizing of this breed. AKC registered this breed in 1929.

Nature and Temperament
These are sweet dogs which are very stubborn and need early training. This breed was basically developed for the purpose of rat hunting in stables. It is very sturdy and proud. They are full of energy and spirit. These dogs are good with children. They sometimes get aggressive toward other animals. They are good protectors and bark to make the master alert. They are very playful and they learn very quickly. They are good companion dogs and are best suited for single persons.
