Its weight is up to 35 pounds. They can do well in both open and small places but they prefer a place with large yard because they need lots of exercise. They spend most of their time outside. Breed History
This dog was found buried in a grave in 900 year. These dogs have their origin related to Norway. The Vikings used this dog for protecting their sheep and farms. It also joined those people to many journeys on sea and land. They were good protector dogs. This breed is raised on the coasts of Norway.
Nature and Temperament
These are medium sized dogs and need minimum exercise daily. They are very energetic dogs and do not tire soon. They are very cheerful and active dog. These dogs are very good for children. They are very playful and loveable dogs. They bark at even a small voice or movement. It loves to be with its master and also give kisses to him.
