Pulis Dog Breed Information
Breed Description:
These are medium sized dogs having long hairs and multicolor. This breed has a life span of 10-12 years. The litter size is up to 3 pups. Best thing in this breed is that they can do well in different environments. Pulis are adaptable in smaller as well as large homes. They are quiet in nature. They have a wonderful corded coat which make them uncommon breed in the world and the coat can grow long to reach the ground. They are healthy, the nose will be of black color, and the eyes are bright and alert. They are fairly muscular and strong.

Breed History:
The Pulis have there origin since ninth century, nomadic shepherds on the Steppes of Hungary have utilized this breed. These people were largely impressed by the animal’s intelligence and willingness to work hence Pulis was highly respected by ancient nomads. This breed was also imported to USA in 1930.
Nature of Breed:
This breed is an intelligent, loyal and lively animal. It mix up with the family and treats like a family member. It is the excellent choice as a family pet and it also adapt to different circumstances and environment. It is good to bring them in early age. If they are given training they become more intelligent. They are rarely aggressive but they bark on the strangers if they find their owner in danger. This breed has a long life, some rat terriers have lived as long as 20 years. Pulis have keen and alert eyes and upright ears. They are very obedient animals.
