Breed Description:
The Shih Tzus is originated in Tibet. This breed is used in temples as a scared dog. In the early 1930’s a puppy was presented to Queen Elizabeth and from then its breeding started in England. This breed got popularity in United States only after 1970.

The Shih Tzus is a small dog with lifespan ranges between 12-16 years. This breed belongs to Utility, Herding, and Toy Group. This breed has long with lite shed. In Shih Tzus both the male and female are of same height (15-27 cm) and weight (4-7 kg).The female breed give birth to 3 puppies usually. This breed is also known as Shih Tzu Kou. This breed can appear in wide range of colors, but blacks, browns, and whites are probably most popular. The body of this breed is compact and slightly longer than it is tall. The head is rounded in shape with large, wide-rounded eyes that express the impression of trust and friendliness. The Shih Tzu makes an ideal dog for both city and country living.

The Shih Tzus is the breed which always is active by playing games or just being loved. This breed is good companion to its owner and to other animals, because of its fun loving nature. This breed is good to be a gentle lapdog and a vivacious companion.
