Siberian Husky’s Dog Breed Information
Breed Description:
The Siberian Husky is originated from northeastern part of Siberia. In World War II, the breed served the U.S. Army’s search and rescue teams. This breed is recognized by The American kennel Club in 1938.

Physical Characteristics:
The Siberian Husky is a beautiful gracious animal with thick under coat. The life span of this breed ranges between 11-13 years. This breed is also known as Siberian husky and Sibe. The male Siberian Husky weighs (15-27 kg) with the height of (53-60cm), while male weighs (15-23 kg) with the height of (50-55 cm). The female give birth to 6-8 puppies. The Siberian Husky appears in various colors like black and white, Jet black, silver (dilute) black and reddish black, Grey, Wolf Grey, Silver, Sable, Copper and Chocolate Copper. This breed appears in large size with long hair and heavy shed. This breed can with stand the temperature as low as (-50 to -60C). This breed is perfectly good for people who live in cool Climate.
Nature of Breed:
The Siberian Husky is cautious and alert dog. This breed is less aggressive in nature and is not too much suspicious of strangers. This intelligent breed is very gentle and friendly and forms deep bonds with one individual from the family. This breed has tractability, intelligence and eager disposition which make it as a obedient companion and hard worker. This breed should be trained properly for being a good companion, because it is independent in nature. The Siberian share it’s treats with friends as it is neither too possessive nor too protective.
