Gemini: Cat On A Hot Tin Roof (May 20 - June 20)

Cancer: The Crazy Cat (June 21 - July 21)

1. The Cancer Cat is difficult to describe and difficult to know. This basically shy feline will be an emotional bottomless pit, alternately enveloped in happiness and despair for no apparent rhyme or reason.
2. This cat will never be able to feel anything lightly and his or her depth of feeling will be so extreme that everyone in the immediate vicinity will be dragged into it. An adaptable and variable creature, the Cancer Cat is tenacious, unpredictable, true to his or her nocturnal nature and somewhat on the moody side.
3. Physically, the Cancer Cat invariably has a small, pursed mouth…a sure indication of his or her Zodiac Sign.

Taurus: The Earth Mother (April 20 - May 19)

1. The Taurus Cat is totally unflappable…most of the time. This feline is impossible to shock and well able to hold his or her own in the face of danger…usually due to the fact that he or she is far too idle to get up and move out of the way.
2. This cat’s sraightforward approach to life will be easy to understand. The Taurus Cat is steady and dependable…always where the owner expects this cat to be and doing what is expected of him or her.
3. In short, the Taurus Cat is a creature of habit and routine who will never…ever…do anything unpredictable and to whom catnaps are the breath of life.
4. Physically, the Taurus Cat will be a large specimen…the kind of feline whose size is often a conversation piece and one remarked upon by all.
5. He or she will also possess big, beautiful eyes and an equally huge appetite, which results in the health problem eventually experienced by most Taurus Cats…obesity.

It will be necessary to vacuum around, dust around and step over this feline. The Taurus Cat sleeps most of time and during slumber, nothing will awaken him or her. This cat rarely allows paws or torso to lose contact with a solid surface…partly because he or she will be too heavy to move very far, but more so through a genuine need to be in constant touch with the ground. It is not unusual to hear the Aries Cat hissing at any other cats who may have strayed into his or her territory and this feline is frequently covered with battle scars…perhaps even a piece or two missing from the ear. In the wild, the Aries Cat would either be the leader of the pride or second-in-command to a Leo Cat. This feline needs to be treated as an equal and suffers from a badly bruised ego if spoken down to.

Pisces: The Interpreter (February 19 - March 19)

1. The Pisces Dog is yet another split-personality dog, pulled in two directions at the same time. When this is coupled with a slight lack of intelligence and deep senstitivity, then the end result is a very complicated dog.
2. An unpredictable soul whose mind changes from one minute to the next, the life of the Pisces Dog will an endless ebb and flow of moods, changeability and contrariness as inner feelings pull him or her in every direction. This dog will hardly ever know if he or she is coming or going…or even been there already.
3. The Pisces Dog will be a good dog who truly desires to please. This will, at times, be quite obvious and lead to enjoyable experiences.
4. Physically, there are no particular attributes or peculiarites associated with the Pisces Dog. He or she will be active and playful…on occasion…and unfortunately prone to leg and foot ailments since the ankles and paws tend to be weak.

1. The Capricorn Dog is driven by ambition and the ability to scale heights.
2. With one glance, the Capricorn Dog will sum up a person and no amount of elocution lessons or learned deportment will fool this discerning dog, whose obsession in life is to better his or her present position and move, step-by-step, up the social ladder.
3. Reserved by nature and supremely diplomatic, the Capricorn Dog makes for an amenable pet. It is sometimes said of the Capricorn Dog that he or she looks old from the moment of birth, but improves with age.
4. Dogs governed by Capricorn tend to favour those breeds which can withstand cold climates, such as the Saint Bernard or Husky.
5. The practical, earthy nature of Capricorn makes this dog unafraid of hard work but, since these dogs are also ruled by the Planet Saturn, they may take an exceedingly long time to complete anything undertaken. “Walkies” with a Capricorn Dog can be infuriating as he or she forever lags behind.

Where there is Scorpio Dog, then there should always be a dog-run house. The Scorpio Dog demands (and gets) a full eight hours of undisturbed sleep every night and those hours of rest will be spent in the warmest and most comfortable place…even if that just happens to be the chair where his or her owner wanted to watch the late night movie. This behavior is far from ideal to an owner who possesses a nervous temperament or who lives alone. However, most of the invisible beings noted by the Scorpio Dog will be harmless…it will only be when he or she hides under the bed, too frightened to emerge, that the time will have arrived to call in the police.

Libra: Shop-Steward (September 22 - October 22)

1. The Libra Dog has one purpose and one purpose only…to improve the lot of the working or owned dog. This dog expects to start at the bottom but, within a year or two, will have ascended to a senior position in the household with quite a lot of “say” in things.
2. The Libra Dog will stand for less obedience, more food and a shorter working week. If an owner should ask this dog to do anything during the evening hours, then double biscuits are in order or there will be no response.
3. The Libra Dog is also a firm believer in the “closed shop” concept. In other words, one house…one dog.
4. Basically a well-balanced creature, the Libra Dog is not overly-emotional and remains totally impartial when argument ensue.
5. Physically, the Libra Dog always appears to be well-nourished…and this dog will make sure he or she stays that way. However, as this dog grows older,

8. The female Libra Dog may not be so easy. She will be so afraid of offending any male that shows an interest in her that she will not know how to say “No.” This misguided consideration means that if an owner has no desire to breed a Libra bitch, then she should be spayed…and quickly.

The Libra Dog will refuse to be banished to an outside kennel, unless the owner is also willing to take up residence within. The Libra Dog will never stand for being treated like a dog while his or her owner is permitted to live like a person. Since the Libra Dog models his or her life on that of the owner, if things go wrong then the owner only has himself or herself to blame. If the owner entertains a lot, with people coming and going all the time, then the Libra Dog expects the same privilege…except in such an instance, it will be other dogs coming in to add to the fun. If an owner really cannot handle that and wants to continue to keep this dog as a happy pet, then the only answer will be to cut out the human visitors. Nonetheless, the Libra Dog is possessed of a gentle manner and a great desire to please, usually remaining a loving soul as long as the love is returned. A large degree of affection is important to the Libra Dog and he or she will go to great lengths to display such feelings in the hope that the owner will reciprocate. This dog is not prone to being argumentative and, if tried sorely, will invariably become too frightened of upsetting an owner to show what he or she really feels.
